One day, somewhere. Armand, a young military chaplain mobilised for a nameless war, is the sole survivor of an ambush in the middle of the forest. Forced to kill a man for his own survival, the priest sees his world, his deepest convictions and his life suddenly shattered.... In the suffocating atmosphere of this gloomy, Dantesque pine forest, Armand sets off in search of forgiveness from those he has wounded - against all odds.
